BL&D Plant Hire & Sales was approached by RAZEL-BEC with a unique request to lease a Super Long Reach Excavator with a digging depth of 17.5 meters.

This machine assisted with the earthworks/excavation on the river bed so the Cougher Dam could be constructed below the Kariba Dam Wall.

Once the Cougher Dam was constructed RAZEL-BEC could drain the plunge pool dry to ensure vital repairs were made so the dam wall does not collapse.
